“Robin Touched the Lives and Hearts of So Many”: Bee Gees Star’s Widow Reflects Four Months After His Death
Four months after losing her husband, Bee Gees legend Robin Gibb, his widow Dwina Gibb continues to draw strength from the outpouring of love and support from fans around the world.

Kneeling at Robin’s grave, Dwina reads yet another heartfelt message left by a visitor. It’s one of hundreds—letters, cards, flowers, and small gifts arrive daily from admirers moved by Robin’s music and legacy. A handmade flag at the site simply reads, “The best dad,” a loving tribute from their son, Robin-John.
“They are all wonderful messages and show how Robin touched the lives and hearts of so many people,” Dwina shared.
The couple’s estate, with its 12th-century chapel, has become an unofficial memorial to the late singer. Inside, Dwina has carefully pinned up dozens of notes and mementos, transforming the space into a shrine for those who want to remember the man whose voice helped sell over 200 million albums with his brothers Barry and Maurice Gibb.
Dwina also spoke tenderly of Robin’s final moments, revealing that as he lay gravely ill, he still tried to mouth the lyrics to some of his most cherished Bee Gees songs.
Among the last to speak with him was former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair, whose call came in the days before Robin passed. The gesture was deeply meaningful to the family.
In the face of unimaginable loss, it’s the connection with fans—and the love they continue to show—that has helped carry Dwina through.
“Robin may be gone,” she said, “but his spirit lives on in the music, in the memories, and in every message from those who loved him.”
