“Priscilla pulled the breathing tube only hours after Lisa was admitted — before her granddaughter, Riley Keough, could even reach the hospital,” the court filing reads. “Lisa Marie’s directive clearly stated she wanted every effort made to keep her alive.”
The lawsuit suggests a disturbing motive: control. It alleges that Priscilla knew Lisa Marie was about to revoke her authority over a massive life insurance trust — a move that would strip Priscilla of her financial power. By authorizing the end of Lisa’s treatment, the plaintiffs insinuate, she may have been “seizing one last opportunity to regain control.”
Attorney Jordan Matthews, representing Kruse and Fialko, told Sidebar with Jesse Weber,
“These aren’t random accusations — they’re backed by documentation and witness accounts. We have sworn testimony from Ms. Kruse and others who were with Priscilla that day. We plan to bring them forward under oath.”
Matthews emphasized that his clients’ claims establish “a clear pattern of behavior,” stretching back decades.
Just one week after Lisa Marie’s passing, the lawsuit says, Priscilla allegedly declared,
“I’m the Queen. I’m the one running Graceland.”
The amended filing also turns back the clock nearly 50 years — to Elvis’s final months in 1977. According to the complaint, Priscilla, driven by “pure greed,” pressured Elvis into renegotiating their divorce settlement. The lawsuit claims she “pushed him to the brink of collapse,” forcing him to mortgage Graceland for nearly $500,000 — the equivalent of over $2.2 million today — just four months before his fatal heart attack.
The plaintiffs insist that this long history of alleged emotional manipulation and financial coercion is at the center of their fraud and inducement case, arguing that they never would have gone into business with Priscilla had they known her alleged past.
Priscilla’s legal team has fiercely denied all claims. Her high-profile attorney Marty Singer issued a blistering rebuttal:
“This is nothing more than a desperate attempt to defame Priscilla Presley in an effort to salvage a baseless lawsuit,” Singer said. “These allegations are outrageous, absurd, and disgusting. Priscilla had nothing to do with JFK’s assassination, Area 51, or faking the moon landing — and she certainly didn’t ‘pull the plug’ on anyone.”
But Matthews remains unmoved.
“They can mock us all they want,” he said. “We’ve submitted forty exhibits of evidence. The documents speak for themselves.”
